Downtown is dominated by the modern Largo Engo Duarte Pacheco, a must visit place. In this square the animation is constant. The various esplanades and cultural events organized by the Municipality greatly contribute to this. It is also here that the Pintor Samora Barros Art Gallery is located, where you can enjoy various art exhibitions.

From this square start several streets animated by the hustle and bustle of residents and visitors looking for good gastronomy, leisure, souvenirs and lots of fun in the numerous bars.

Both in Largo Engo Duarte Pacheco and in the adjacent streets - Rua Cândido dos Reis, Rua São Gonçalo de Lagos and Av. 25 de Abril - as in Cais Herculano and Praça dos Pescadores, you will

find several shops where you can do your shopping. The ideal is to combine the useful with the pleasant and stop at one of the sunny and spacious terraces that you will find there, for a drink, lunch or dinner.

In downtown Albufeira, Rua 5 de Outubro and Av. da Liberdade, where shops with sophisticated items, jewelry and watchmaking predominate.

Av. Sá Carneiro, in the Montechoro area, in Areias de São João, is another privileged place to go shopping. Here you will find from the store with regional products to the boutiques and shoe stores.

In addition to the aforementioned areas, you will find several shops and shopping centers all over the county that will allow you to spend some relaxing moments and find products from the main brands.
