Galeria de Arte Pintor Samora Barros

Exhibition: “Beyond Colors” – Marie Ladeira

Artist Marie Ladeira invites visitors on a journey through the creative universe, where abstract and figurative forms meet in a spontaneous and emotional dialogue. Each work reflects memories, captured energies, and lived moments, revealing a personal language that goes beyond the image. The colors, gestures, and splashes allow visitors to explore what vibrates beneath the surface of the canvases, making the visit a sensory and reflective experience.


Galeria Municipal João Bailote

Exhibition: “The Sacred Mountain” – Eunice Ferreira

Eunice Ferreira’s contemporary tapestry exhibition presents around twenty projects inspired by the Serra de Monchique and the Algarve’s rocky landscapes. Each piece transforms threads and cords of different fibers into three-dimensional compositions that combine tradition and creativity. The works invite contemplation and touch, highlighting the craftsmanship and traditional skills of the region.


Museu Municipal de Arqueologia

Exhibition: “Contemporary Archaeology” – Tatiana Silva

Period: Until January 26

Tatiana Silva’s exhibition brings visitors closer to contemporary art inspired by archaeology, creating a dialogue between past and present, tradition and innovation. To make the most of your visit, start at Galeria Municipal João Bailote, next to the Paços do Concelho, then proceed to the Museu Municipal de Arqueologia, housed in the former Town Hall building, and finish at the Galeria de Arte Pintor Samora Barros, at Largo Eng. Duarte Pacheco, also known as Jardim da Meia Laranja, right in the heart of the city.
