Oura Beach

Oura Beach is one of Albufeira’s liveliest and most iconic beaches, known for its proximity to the nightlife district and the wide selection of hotels, restaurants and bars.

Historically, it was one of the first areas in Albufeira to attract international tourism, with major hotels established here in the 1970s, shaping the region’s development.

The sandy beach is wide and framed by low cliffs, creating a lively yet welcoming environment suitable for families and groups.

The beach offers excellent facilities, including lifeguards, restaurants, beach bars, water-sports activities, equipment rentals, showers and easy access.

The atmosphere is youthful and energetic, particularly in the afternoon and early evening when it blends with the nearby “Strip.”

However, mornings remain calm and are perfect for swimming, walking and relaxing before the area reaches its peak activity.
